No.42 of a limited edition of 350. 350 copies of this work were printed 1890-1893; 75 copies of the Patron's Edition on whatman's hand made paper; 80 copies of the Library edition on toned linen made paper; and 195 copies on deckled edge paper. In addition 32 copies were struck off for the subscribers to the J.A Corbett Memorial Fund. AUTHOR'S signature follows the number 42). Outer and lower edges untrimmed. A frontispiece of sculptur e(Christ with scripture book ?) and a few plates on vellum paper, some folded. Internally very clean and intact, BUT: f.cover detached; much rubbing, bumping and wear to perimeters and corners. Very large, heavy book: 270x190 cms. Would be ideal for repair. SCARCE ITEM.
