QUESTO SAGGIO DI SHMUEL TRIGANO È UN VIAGGIO NELLA STORIA DEL DESTINO DI UNA TERRA E DEL CONFLITTO ARABO-ISRAELIANO, IN PARTICOLARE A PARTIRE DAGLI EVENTI CHE SI SONO SUSSEGUITI DOPO LA SECONDA INTIFADA. IL TESTO, OLTRE AD ACCOMPAGNARE IL LETTORE DENTRO GLI EVENTI, TRATTEGGIA ANCHE LE CARATTERISTICHE DELLA MANIPOLAZIONE DELLA REALTÀ DEI FATTI. L'EFFETTO DI QUESTO TERREMOTO, ORCHESTRATO MEDIATICAMENTE DALLA PROPAGANDA OCCIDENTALE, HA GETTATO LE BASI PER LA DELEGITTIMAZIONE DI ISRAELE. L'AUTORE DIMOSTRA CHE È ANCORA POSSIBILE RIUSCIRE A GIUNGERE AD UN PUNTO DI VISTA OBIETTIVO SUI FATTI. IL TESTO DI SHMUEL TRIGANO, CHE FORNISCE UN METODO DI LETTURA DELLA REALTÀ APPLICABILE ANCHE AD ALTRI CONTESTI SOCIALI, FORNISCE SPUNTI DI RIFLESSIONE DEL POTERE DEI RIFLETTORI MEDIATICI.
