Revised and enlarged third edition (as stated upon title page). i-xxviii, 5-390, [2], [7] pages. Hardcover: H 23.25cm x L 15.25cm. Lacks dust jacket. Red cloth with some light soiling, discoloration to 3cm swath at top of front board, some associated mottling and abrasion to spine cloth mostly at head and upper front joint, gilt stamping to spine and front board remains bright. Some foxing and soiling to edges; pencil ownership inscription on front free endpaper. Interior pages are clean. Binding is firm. A good+ copy. With eighteen plates including four foldouts.
