Sydney the Pygmy Goat Takes a Stand is a fun rhyming growth-mindset book that takes readers on a journey about confidence, self-esteem, and resilience.
Sydney, a Pygmy Goat, only wants to fit in and feel accepted. He feels different because he is a little chubbier than the other kids. While he loves playing kickball, he doesn't get an opportunity to show his skills as the other kids make fun of him and don't include him in their games.
Sydney struggles with his self-image as he experiences bullying behaviors.
Despite feeling excluded by the other kids, can Sydney find the inner strength to stand up for himself?
Will Sydney be able to show the others his kickball skills?
Follow along with Sydney as he works on his mental toughness and self-love. Sydney demonstrates that no matter our differences, we are all valuable and have beautiful things to contribute,
and we must give others a chance beyond appearances.
