He served as president of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) from 2003 to 2005.

Anthony Harris is Associate Professor of Psychiatry, Clinical Director at the Brain Dynamics Centre, and co-chair of the Neuroscience and Mental Health Theme at the University of Sydney. Juliette Drobny is a senior clinical psychologist and Lecturer at the University of Sydney.
