Sustainable Practices in Offshore Geotechnics

This book includes the proceedings from the International Symposium on Offshore Geotechnics (ISOG 2024), with papers focusing on the key aspects of UN Sustainable Development Goals SDG#7 and SDG#9, which are related to industry, innovations and infrastructure, and affordable and clean energy (offshore wind energy). Key themes of the book include advanced site investigation techniques, soil characterization and ground modeling, offshore renewable energy converters, offshore foundations systems, anchoring systems, pipeline geotechnics, deep-sea explorations, offshore geohazard, risk management, sustainability in offshore engineering, geohazard mitigation, and the integration of emerging technologies. The book contains invited papers by renowned experts and contributory papers by the conference delegates, including academicians, scientists, research scholars, and industry professionals. The primary audience will be academicians, faculty, research scholars, PG and UG students, and industry professionals.
