This second printing is an ex-library book rebound in September 1965. The copy right is 1961. I am unsure of the year the second printing was issued. there are no marks in the book other than normal ex-library marks and labels. Twenty three authors contributed to the book. " This volume is designed to provide a concise yet comprehensive survey of modern surgery, an up-to-date guide and ready reference for the student, the resident, and the practicing surgeon. To achieve this goal we have reviewed surgical practice in its broadest sense, including rehabilitation and the newer therapeutic agents and techniques, and have gone beyond traditional limits to cover such subjects as the legal obligations of the surgeon and the relation to surgery of the patient's emotional responses.".
