Paperback. Two Labradors one from the city and one a trained gun dog live together with the Boss in a country village. Worthington thinks he is sophisticated and well bred; he regards Sam as a country bumpkin unfortunately most of the time he needs Sam to help him get to his two passions - food and ladies. The dogs are superlatives, humans uprights and cats inferiors. The book is a collection of short stories each one being another adventure for the two dogs. They includes a cricket match, a day's shooting, staying with a friend of the boss which eventually lead to an equally unfortunate stay in kennels, and a visit by a burglar. All a humorous look at the life of two dogs through their eyes This item is printed on demand.
