About the Editor
Knobil graduated from Manchester University in 1985 with a degree in theology. His thesis was entitled 'Ethical Issues In Advertising'. Since being awarded a postgraduate diploma in advertising in 1986 Knobil has worked at The Product Works,Park and as an account director at LansdownEuro (part of WPP, the largest advertising group in the world).He is now Chairperson of Creative & Commercial Communications Ltd. The company helps some of the strongest companies in the world (as well as emerging ones) create, build and protect their brands.
Knobil produces and presents advertising and marketing related radio programmes. He also contributes to television and press on advertising matters, has a column in the Insider magazine, and lectures on the subject of branding. This is Knobil's fifth book. His first was dedicated to The Awards For The Best Ads Never Seen, an event which salutes great advertising which never gets aired or printed. Knobil is Chairperson of the Superbrands Council which evaluates the strongest brands in the United Kingdom.
