This unprecedented book is full of colour photographs, classic advertisements and inspiring design, making it essential reading and reference for anyone working or interested in marketing, advertising, design and PR. It will also appeal to consumers who are interested in learning more about the brands they buy every week.
By the end of 1997 there were 23,000 McDonald's restaurants operating in 109 countries and territories across the globe, supplying food and drink to 38 million people worldwide each day.
Every five minutes, enough Kit Kats are manufactured to out-stack the Eiffel Tower. W10.5 million packets of Walkers Crisps are sold in the UK every day. 12 pints of Stella Artois are drunk every second in the UK.
The accomplishments of certain brands are awesome. But how have they achieved such phenomenal success? How have they managed to maintain prominence within the minds of millions of customers and earn their constant loyalty?
The Superbrands have been selected by the Superbrands Council which boasts some of the most respected figures in the communications industry who are eminently qualified to judge what makes a brand a Superbrand. The book opens with expert comment from members of the Superbrands Council on why consumers are so loyal to Superbrands.
