Alan and Jed are struggling with what it means to be sons and fathers. After their parents divorced, their father became a "Sunday Father," a role Jed finds himself slipping reluctantly into as his own marriage disintegrates. Meanwhile, Alan, ensconced in the family firm, is having trouble living up to their fathers' expectations.
