What do you do when you find out nothing is what it seems? If you’re Veronica Sinclair, you trade your designer shoes for spy gear and set to work taking down a human trafficking ring.
On her wedding day, Veronica thinks she has it all: the loving family, the Vera Wang dress, the hunky husband. But then a mysterious and beautiful woman shows up at the reception, suggesting Veronica's new hubby isn't exactly who he says he is. As if that weren't enough, Veronica and Richard must flee gunmen in the middle of their honeymoon, convincing Veronica she got more than she bargained for when she said, "I do."
Thrown into a world of espionage, seduction, and human trafficking, Veronica must fight for the life and husband she thought she had, that is, if they’re the life and husband she truly wants.
Suddenly a Spy is the fifth installment in the surprisingly warm and funny series The Throwaways, twelve novels that don’t shy away from the dark corners of this world but always shine the light of hope. At the core of the series is a group of strong but often unlikely heroes and heroines coming from all walks of life whose lives intertwine as they fight for justice, for love, and to leave their indelible mark on this world.
Immerse yourself in a world of suspense, laughter, and love with The Throwaways.
