This item is a softcover booklet from the California State Printing Office ? with the grey cardstock covers with a strip binding reinforcing tape along the spine, apparently as issued, all in very good condition ? with the front cover of the wrapper showing a previous owners inked name. The cover shows title and date of ? Volume 20, Sacramento, July and October, 1934 - Nos. 3 and 4 ? and the price of twenty-five cents. The entire front cover panel is reprinted as the title page inside ? and proceeding with 146 numbered pages with chapter titles as ? Identification, Distribution, Characteristics, General Habits, Breeding Habits, Natural Enemies, Diseases, and Food Habits. The text pages feature numerous black-and-white photos. The condition of this item is generally very good ? with some creasing-wear showing to the covers ? and a bit of faint bending to the corners of the text pages but beyond that the text is in at least very good condition ? with no writing or damage to note beyond.
