Jacket is very worn, rubbed, and chipped but thankfully the gorgeous Lynd Ward cover is relatively unscathed. Book itself is in pretty nice shape - a bit shelfworn, but no real defects to report. Modern Library number 113 on the spine. Original price $1.25, Toledano number 113.2, 329 titles listed on reverse of dust jacket, jacket back style h5. Modern Library binding style 8 (Blumenthal). Printed between 1947 and 1949 according to the various identifiers. A fascinating early true crime book.
