Learn to be the pilot of yourself with this workbook. Know your invisible stressors that turn a calm day into a bumpy flight. With help from your adult flight instructors and lots of practice, you will learn how to handle stress before it takes over.
This workbook contains:
- Fun, interactive, hands-on activities that promote learning of key concepts
- Tools to better understand yourself:
- Identifying your own invisible stressors.
- Identifying your personalized activities that keep your fuel tanks properly fueled.
- Fuel gauge logs to monitor your daily or weekly fuel levels.
- Understanding personal bodily sensations for each of the fuel levels.
- Develop flight plans to guide days filled with invisible stressors.
- Learn to reflect on bumpy flights to guide future situations.
Learning comes to life with fun, child-friendly, and age-appropriate activities. Understanding concepts in a fun, hands-on way for active learning.
Are you a parent who wants to make sure your child knows lifelong skills about managing stress? Do you want them to understand the impact of invisible stressors and the importance of keeping their fuel gauges from running too low? Overwhelmed states, if not properly monitored, can lead to burnout. Are you interested in taking this flight path to better navigate bumpy flights?
Children and adults will learn how invisible stressors impact behavior. The workbook provides a framework for creating their own "flight plan" to support emotional regulation and personal growth.
Age-appropriate material to help children 7-12 understand their own invisible stressors while creating their own toolbox of activities that maintain their fuel gauge levels.
