Paperback. The world is changing at a phenomenal and unprecedented rate. Most of us feel like we can't keep up. It's requiring us to think in different ways and do new things to approach novel problems. Our world is screaming out for us to be powerful and highly adaptive. This "Pivot Power" is demonstrated by embracing and enacting choice over thoughts, feelings, and actions and is measured by the ease and flexibility of embracing and enacting that choice. It's about managing new experiences, changing circumstances, fresh information, and the stress that emerges in calm and tactical ways. Stuck U. is the roadmap and the support system necessary to bring you to the major leagues of Pivot Power. If you're like most people, the word "change" elicits fear, or at least a healthy dose of anxiety. When things are the same and predictable, we feel safer. We know what is expected of us and we can act accordingly. To considering changing anything, we require some measure of confidence and calm; knowing that things will work out okay. If you have mastery of your personal power, you will welcome change more readily. You will be a guru of change; not fearless, but courageous. Sound inviting? If you're a company executive, this is the change manual you must distribute to your employees. How do you unstick a team? If your staff isn't onboard, your change efforts just went out the window, along with your wallet. This book guides them to get onboard and be a catalyst for change and not the status quo. Your organizational change isn't going to happen without each individual changing. You have to invest in THEIR change process in order for them to invest in YOUR change process. In this book, you're going to learn how to take your insights and put them into action. You'll be poised to use all those quotes you've been recounting and sharing for years and actually live their truth. It's not necessarily going to be easy. For some, it'll come hard and suddenly. For others, it'll be a slow and steady tortoise race. Either way, this book will provide you with the basis and the support to guide you through to the existence that has eluded you to this point, and not for your lack of effort. We just hadn't met yet. The innovative change process includes: Awareness, Acceptance, Assessment, Action, and Adjustment. Follow this five-step course to unlock your inner awesome and buckle up for your company's meteoric rise.
