'It was important that I knew, and someone should have told me. Perhaps then I would understand what I had to do, who to become.'Sydney-based copywriter Tara keeps a composed exterior, but grapples with an underlying sense of unease. When she delves into her late grandfather's World War I experience, she uncovers a profound connection to her own life. Troubled by the horrors he experienced, she sets out on a quest for understanding with her friend Dominic, tracing her grandfather's journey through Belgium. As they explore their intertwined destinies, they unravel the universal cycle of regret, love, trauma and healing across generations.
