Print on Demand. This book innovatively redefines the term "concept", exploring this subjective idea through psychology, education, and artificial intelligence. The author reviews concept attainment, word association, and semantic mediation research. Through these established frameworks, the author proposes a new method for understanding concepts that considers their systemic nature and the nuances of their encoding and complexity. The author makes the subject accessible by anchoring complex ideas in real-world examples. This book clarifies the multifaceted nature of concepts and reveals the role they play in shaping human cognition and behavior. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book.

- Logic
Two short, focused sections frame a practical theory: a rule-based map of how inputs turn into outputs, and how environments shape which rules we apply. The result is a clear model you can use to understand learning, analogy, and the transfer of knowledge.
- Learn what a systemic concept is and how it combines data representation with problem-solving procedures.
- See how examples from experience anchor concepts and how different but related concepts can produce the same results.
- Discover how to compare diverse concepts by their inputs, operations, and contingencies.
- Explore potential applications in education, learning systems, and cognitive research.
Ideal for readers curious about how people think, learn, and solve problems, and for those interested in educational design and cognitive science.
