About the Author
Briana Shawcroft grew up in the golden, rolling hills of Fairfield, California. Art has always been her passion. She took lessons from her mother at an early age, and that wonderful mentoring and encouragement gave Briana a jump-start on her artistic development. After graduating from BrighamYoung University with a degree in Animation, her career path evolved as her family grew. Illustration has provided a unique experience for her to continue her artistic progression from home while she cares for her two young girls and her loving husband. Briana has illustrated for books including Mystery Busters, The Curse of the Monster's Tooth.Although Briana prefers the flexibility of digital painting, she feels the beautiful spontaneity of traditional painting she did in this book has been refreshing. I Am Strong! I Am Smart! will always be a treasured book that she feels honored to have been a part of.
