#1 Amazon Bestseller in Health Psychology
What if the very strength that helped you survive... is now keeping you from fully living? You've always been the strong one.
The dependable one. The one everyone counts on. You hold everything together—at work, at home and in your relationships.
You push through exhaustion. You rarely ask for help. You take care of everyone else.
And somewhere along the way, you may have lost touch with yourself.
You don't need to become stronger. You need a different relationship with strength.
You may be Too Strong if...• You say yes when you desperately want to say no
• You feel responsible for everyone else's happiness
• You push through what your body is telling you
• Rest makes you feel guilty
• You struggle to receive help
• You're successful on the outside but quietly exhausted underneath
These aren't character flaws. They may be survival patterns that once helped you cope, adapt and keep going but are now quietly costing you your peace, health, relationships and connection to yourself.
Discover Your Too Strong Survival PatternsThe First Responder — Always managing everyone else's emergencies.
The Empty Cup — Giving until there's nothing left.
The Cart Puller — Carrying more than was ever yours to carry.
The Stoic Swan — Calm on the surface. Exhausted underneath.
The Island — Believing you have to do it all alone.
Most of us recognize ourselves in more than one.
Through deeply personal stories, body wisdom, practical tools and the Too Strong Method, DeMattio shows you how to recognize the patterns that once protected you, reconnect with yourself and evolve the strength that helped you survive into a healthier way of living- without giving up your ambition, purpose or success. Because your strength was never meant to be spent simply surviving your life.
When you stop using all your strength to hold everything together, you free that strength for what you're actually here to do: To live. To love. To lead. To create. To contribute.
When we change the way we carry our lives, we change what we're able to bring to the world.
If you've spent years being the caregiver, the fixer, the person everyone depends on...
This book was written for you.
Welcome home.
