The author lists 13 competent striper fly fishermen and their favorite fly patterns. Each fly pattern is shown in color plus dressing techniques for the more complicated flies. Several color photos of anglers and their catches, many of enormous size. This book from the Russell Chatham angling collection. Russ caught the world-record striper on a fly in 1966 under the San Rafael Bridge in the north bay. The book is bound in blue cloth with gilt titles on the spine. Pictorial dust jacket.
