This is the almost unbelievable story of endemic corruption and the official cordoning by the FBI of violent crimes committed by James Whitey' Bulger. For decades the FBI let Bulger get away with murder. He traded information in exchange for continued control of his criminal enterprise, but in 1995 the FBI decided to put an end to this sordid arrangement and moved to indict their longtime informer. However, he fled before they could catch him. During the 80s MacKenzie was one of Bulger's informers. This is the first and only eyewitness account from a Bulger insider.'.
