nach der Bestellung gedruckt Neuware - Printed after ordering - Why do people with so little experience of ordinary life keep making decisions about it Strangers in Charge applies Martin Rothery's psychological lens to political leaders, royal families, billionaires, technology founders and the systems that select them. It is not a party manifesto and it does not offer remote clinical diagnoses. It examines public behaviour, documented history and the developmental environments that shape people who acquire exceptional power. The central argument is uncomfortable: authority without lived contact with the people affected by it produces predictable blind spots. This is a psychological autopsy of power, privilege, insulation and the distance between the governed and those who govern them.
