A boy wearing a black suit is on the loose, burning down buildings. A girl named Cathedra is grappling with the trauma of her past. And her therapist, Richard, is trying to help her, while coming to terms with his own tragic losses. As Richard struggles to resist being drawn into a relationship with Cathedra which would fall outside the boundaries of his profession, Cathedra is lured into the subterranean sewer where Radey prowls, tempting “those worthy” with promises of liberation and transformation as a reward when they face their deepest fears. Is Radey a demon? Is he even real? A solitary white house, secluded by rolling hills and misty fields, seems to hold the answers under the light of a full moon. Cornelius Corvidae is a singer-songwriter, musician, poet, and birch bark jewelry maker. He wrote Stranger In The Fire in 2014. Reaching back through centuries of Gothic horrors, this psychological thriller gently prods us, along with Cathedra, into facing our own inner demons and discovering how, “The truth of who we are lies behind the veil of what we are most afraid of."
