Strange Occurrences, Leopold Davis, 1880, Ernest Besser and Brother, Buffalo, N.Y., 172 pp, 8 x 5.5 , cloth, 12mo. In fair condition. Boards are worn, especially along corners. Spine extremes are chipped and lightly frayed. Gutters shaken throughout, shaken binding. Typically toned interior, free of marginalia. Please see photos. A dozen stories of the weird and unusual, some crime and detection, others Gothic, at least one ("A Dream Realized") supernatural.
