THE STRAIGHT AND NARROW PATH is a bold call to reclaim discipline, responsibility, and purpose in a culture that too often rewards comfort and compromise.Built around the powerful framework known as the "Seven It's," this book challenges readers to examine the foundations of their character-discipline, ownership, identity, integrity, and responsibility. Rather than offering quick fixes or motivational slogans, Jonathan Jeffrey Steitz presents a direct and practical approach to rebuilding personal strength and leadership from the inside out.Through hard truths, practical principles, and clear reflection, readers are encouraged to confront the habits and excuses that quietly erode their potential. Whether leading a family, building a business, mentoring a team, or striving to become a stronger individual, the message is the same: excellence begins with ownership.Rooted in faith and grounded in real-world leadership experience, THE STRAIGHT AND NARROW PATH challenges readers to reject passive living and choose a life defined by conviction, discipline, and intentional growth.Because the path to strength has never been easy-but it has always been worth it. About the Author
Jon Steitz is the founder of Straight And Narrow, a movement dedicated to personal accountability, disciplined growth, and principled leadership. With a background in facility management and team leadership, he has spent years building high-performing teams while challenging individuals to raise their standards in both work and life.
Known for his direct communication style and unwavering emphasis on ownership, Steitz encourages people to confront excuses, eliminate compromise, and lead themselves before attempting to lead others. Through his "Seven It's" framework, he provides practical structure for developing integrity, discipline, identity, and influence in everyday life.
A devoted husband and father, Steitz believes leadership begins in the home and extends outward into communities and organizations. He lives in Ohio with his family and continues to expand Straight And Narrow as a platform for honest conversations, strong communities, and uncommon standards.
