Octavo, original tan cloth over boards, decorated in white and red, color illustrated paper oval pasted to front cover, color illustrated dust jacket, illustrated endpapers, black and white plate frontispiece, five additional black and white plate illustrations. Scarce title from the 'Little Colonel' series of children's books, this book is an excerpt/re-write of 1902's The Little Colonel's Hero, in which the main character spends the summer in Geneva. Near Fine, in Very Good dust jacket, some edge chips and wear, fading to spine, shelf wear.
