Step into a deeply moving and poetic coming-of-age memoir that explores the quiet power of family, memory, and the moments that shape who we become.
In My Story: What I Carried, What I Became, Volume 1, Pavan S. Prashanth opens the door to his childhood with raw honesty and lyrical beauty. From the warmth of a modest home and the scent of home-cooked meals to the weight of a schoolbag filled with silent dreams, this volume invites readers into the tender rhythms of an Indian boy's early life.
Through rich, emotional storytelling, this memoir reveals:
The sacrifices of parents who gave everything without saying a word.
The joy and fear of a first day at school and the simple magic of making a friend.
Laughter tucked between moments of quiet struggle.
A bond with a dog named Jacky and a few curious goldfish — silent witnesses to a growing soul.
Early dreams, unspoken hopes, and the love that carried a child before he could walk alone.
Whether you've grown up in a small town or a big city, this book reminds you of the childhood you carry inside — the stories you forgot and the ones that never left.
🖤 This is not just his story. It might be yours too.
If you believe in the beauty of ordinary moments, in the strength of silent love, and in the quiet resilience of growing up — this book will stay with you.
📘 Volume 1 of a multi-part memoir series. Perfect for readers of deeply personal, emotionally immersive narratives like “Educated” and “The Diary of a Young Girl”.
"Before I carried a backpack, I carried the quiet strength of my parents, the laughter of a small home, and the weight of unspoken dreams—this is the story of how love, sacrifice, and memory shaped the boy I was… and the person I became."
