Once Upon a Time…
By Pastor John Shane Vaughn
What if the calendar you live by is preaching a theology you never chose?
What if the holidays you cherish were never appointed by Yahweh at all—but carefully inherited from a system designed to replace His rhythm with another?
This book is not about salvation.
You can ignore every word and still be saved.
This book is about obedience, holiness, reward, and truth—and it will permanently alter how you see time, worship, and tradition.
In The Story You Were Never Supposed to Know, Pastor John Shane Vaughn pulls back the veil on one of the most guarded deceptions in religious history: the replacement of Yahweh’s appointed times with a counterfeit calendar rooted in Babylon, baptized by Rome, and normalized by tradition.
Through Scripture, history, prophecy, and relentless clarity, this book exposes:
-
The two competing calendars governing the world:
Yahweh’s Circle of Light vs. Babylon’s Circle of Shadows -
How Christmas, Easter, Lent, and Halloween trace directly back to ancient pagan worship
-
Why Yahshua (Jesus) was not born in December, but during the Feast of Tabernacles
-
How Passover was replaced, not fulfilled away
-
Why imitation is more dangerous than opposition
-
What it truly means to “Come out of her, My people”
This is not a gentle book.
It is a watchman’s cry.
It challenges deeply held traditions, confronts emotional attachments, and forces an unavoidable question:
Which calendar governs your worship?
If you are content with comfort, this book will offend you.
If you hunger for truth, it will awaken you.
If you are part of the Remnant, it will feel like coming home.
Once your eyes are opened, you cannot unsee it.
Welcome to the other side of the veil.
