Volumes I and II were published in 1896, and Volumes III and IV in 1901, and there are several small differences in production and design, so the set is not exactly matched. Bindings are all solid. Pages are unmarked but a little tanned. One stained page in Volume I; tear at the bottom of front free endpage of Volume IV. Volumes I and II have deckled edges. Covers all have some wear to edges, especially a small tear at the bottom of Volume I's front hinge. Volume IV's cover is a little more faded, especially spine cover. No dustjackets at issue.
