George Walters lives with his wife in the small town of Port Loring, Ontario. George has come from a family of story-tellers. As a boy he was fascinated by stories he would hear sitting by an old wood stove or camp fire. This book is filled with short stories that the whole family can enjoy. The memories and imaginations of a young boy, growing up on a farm, keep the pages filled with wisdom, happiness, suspense, love and kindness. As the stories skip around from place to place, he reflects back to his early days and how he is adapting to the changes in todays world. All of the stories in this book were written as they were meant to be told, they will captivate and put you right there with him. Do you yearn for the good old days? The way things used to be? When family values meant something? Where the simple life was rewarding? Well, let this book take you back.

One More Story
Some stories never grow old.
Growing up on a farm in Northern Ontario, George Walters learned early that the best things in life happen slowly — beside wood stoves, around campfires, at the kitchen table after a long day's work.
In One More Story, George shares the memories that shaped him. Childhood mornings, barn chores, market days, neighbours who became lifelong lessons. Stories of laughter and sorrow, kindness and forgiveness, and the quiet strength that comes from a life lived close to the land.
Do you ever miss the good old days? When family meant everything and life felt a little steadier?
Pull up a chair. There's always room for one more story.
