Item description from seller

KPC 040404 LOC. This is a very unusual edition of The Story of a Fierce Bad Rabbit - it is taller and wider than any editions I can find. The story seems essentially the same but the illustrations, though similar in content, are all different and appear to me to be chromolithographs. There is no publisher and no publication date. The front cover illustration (framed in a 3.5 x 5.25 inch box) shows a rabbit sitting on bench, legs crossed, eating a carrot. On the facing page are black and white images that almost appear to be grey scale reproductions of the illustrations in the original book. In the center is a full page chromo of two adult and three baby bunnies. I'm guessing this is a pirated edition. The front and back board are present but the spine broke so the two boards are taped together with six aging strips of "clear" tape.…
