From the Author
When I worked in a children's bookstore, so many people asked for books with the "real meaning" of Easter and suitable ones for ages 2-7 were hard to find. So I found an appealing way to tell the stories around Easter - throught the eyes of seven animals that maybe have been there. The animals are observers of the action, much as children are of all adult activities. From Palm Sunday with Clip-Clop Donkey, through the Holy Week events, including the crucifixtion as seen throuigh the eyes of Charger, the Roman soldier's horse. Then Easter morning in the garden with lovable Digger Mole. There are even two stories form Christ's post-reusrrection appearances with Lop-a-long Dog and Patches the Cat. Children in groups and families have delighted in these stories and the interactive way the text encrouages them to take part in the telling. This book is illustrated by Max Kolding who has a fine understanding of Bible times, child appeal, and animals. Standard Publishing has edited and produced a beautiful book. And it is avialable here on Amazon! Hope you make a it part of your joyful Easter season! Blessings!
