Synopsis:

Dutch Golden Age painter Rembrandt van Rijn produced The Storm on the Sea of Galilee in 1633. It depicts, from the fourth chapter of the Gospel According to Mark, the miracle of Jesus calming the storm on the Sea of Galilee. The painting remains missing since its theft from the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum in Boston in 1990.
