The Storm Tides of Tomorrow Book Four by August Mae
The sky has been watching them since they left Bristol.
What begins as a darkening on the horizon becomes something else entirely. A storm unlike any in living memory, rising from the deep waters, hungry and relentless. The kind of weather that swallows boats whole and leaves nothing behind but questions.
Seren, Moss, Gull, and Wren have found what Havenswell needs. Now they must bring it home.
But the sea demands its due. Every wave tests the limits of their vessel. Every hour reveals new fractures, in the boat, in the body, in the bonds that hold them together. When Gull's heart begins to fail, the crew must make impossible choices with no time to weigh the costs.
And back in Havenswell, the bells toll for the dying. The sickness spreads. Those who remain watch an empty horizon, carrying words they never found the courage to speak, waiting for a shape that does not appear.
Some storms destroy what they touch.
Others strip away everything but the truth.
The Storm continues the Tides of Tomorrow series, a hopeful climate fiction series for readers who love Becky Chambers, Station Eleven, and City of Ember.
