Paperback. If I Could Only Stop the Downpour of the Hourglass is a symphony of devotion-a lyrical offering to the eternal bond between the writer and her Muse, and a heartfelt celebration of every poetry lover and book dreamer who finds refuge in words. More than a collection of love poems, it is a testament to the transcendence of art itself-a declaration that passion, creativity, and wonder can outshine the turmoil of our times. In these pages, the modern goddess of literature speaks through verse-her adoration for inspiration itself flowing like light through a storm. Amid wars, disasters, and chaos, her poems stand as quiet acts of faith in beauty and humanity, restoring poetry's place as a force of healing and connection. If I Could Only Stop the Downpour of the Hourglass dances between history and politics, music and art, nature and existence-each poem touching upon the vast spectrum of what it means to feel, to think, to live. Through this tapestry of emotion and insight, the author shares her boundless love with a global community of readers. These poems need no introduction-they have already found homes in literary journals and anthologies across America, India, Japan, Romania, Great Britain, France, Canada, Belgium, and the Philippines. Some have even earned national recognition, including a nomination for the Nick Joaquin Literary Awards 2023.Let them speak for themselves. For in their cadence lies not just poetry-but the pulse of a soul determined to capture eternity before the hourglass runs dry. This item is printed on demand.
