hardback, quarto, 11 1/2" x 9", quarter red cloth lettered gilt to spine, grey cloth boards, top edges red, a very good tightly bound copy in a poor pictorial dust wrapper which is now protected in a non-adhesive archival film sleeve, signature of a previous owner to the front free endpaper, the text is clean and unmarked, forty-seven b&w plates and two folding plans, xvii, 252 + 14 pp. Uncommon, especially so in the dust jacket. Dust jacket has one tear on top left a bit bent across top and some light foxing not clipped. Book in very good + condition straight and right boards tight end papers unmarked and not cracked.
