The Six Stone Jars. This item is unavailable. The Six Stone Jars

Jesus turned water into wine. But why did John stop to count the jars?

Six stone water jars. Used for ceremonial washing. Twenty to thirty gallons apiece.

Most of us read past that line to get to the miracle. Michael JP Wilson could not. Why six and not seven? Why stone instead of clay? Why would Jesus, who spoke the universe into existence, reach for the vessels of an old religious system instead of creating wine out of nothing at all?

That question became this book.

The Six Stone Jars is a chapter-by-chapter study of one miracle, examined one detail at a time. It is written for the person who is running on empty and pretending otherwise. The leader carrying a role they no longer have the reserves for. The believer who is checking every box and quietly wondering where the joy went. Anyone who has ever looked at their own life and thought, the wine ran out months ago and nobody knows.

Drawing on years of coaching entrepreneurs, pastors, and executives, Wilson shows how the crisis at Cana plays out in boardrooms as often as it does in sanctuaries. Human systems have a ceiling. Effort has a limit. What happens after you hit that ceiling is the subject of this book.

Inside you will discover:

• Why God so often waits until human effort has completely failed before He moves
• What Mary's five-word statement teaches about surrender without a strategy
• The meaning behind stone rather than clay, and six rather than seven
• Why Jesus repurposed the vessels of the old covenant instead of destroying them
• What one hundred and twenty gallons of wine reveals about the size of God's grace
• Why "filled to the brim" is the condition most of us never actually meet
• The difference between the man who tasted the miracle and the servants who knew where it came from

Every chapter ends with reflection questions built for personal study, small groups, or a men's group working through it together.

The world gives its best first and declines from there. The kingdom of God runs in the opposite direction.

If the wine has run out in your life, that is not the end of your story. It is the beginning of His.
