You Can't Hurry Sad - Daphne Comes to Town

When Mom and Dad bring home a mysterious box with holes in the top, Sticky and his family are sure it must be a treat. But when a tiny white paw swats his nose, they realize this is no treat-it's something else entirely.

Meet Daphne, a beautiful but very grumpy new "dog"... or at least, that's what Sticky thinks she is. But Daphne insists she's not a dog-she's a cat! And she doesn't belong here. She's waiting for her family to come back for her.

As the days pass, Sticky and his family try everything to help Daphne feel at home, but she just stays in her box, too sad to play. That's when Sticky learns a big lesson: you can't hurry sad. Sad takes time. And sometimes, the best way to help someone isn't to cheer them up-it's just to be there.

From the beloved Sticky the Kitty series, this heartwarming story about patience, love, and the power of family will touch the hearts of readers young and old.
