Norton, 1943, with 156 pages, 8vo, states "First Edition" on the copyright page. Book is bound in sturdy black cloth-covered boards with red lettering on the spine. The book itself has no significant flaws, pages perhaps a tad age-toned, two small specks of soil to the bottom exterior page edges, otherwise book would be Fine, cloth binding almost as crisp and fresh as new. The book is clean and stain-free, square and straight, firm and tight in its binding, no pages are loose, torn, or missing. The hinges are sound and undamaged, the corners are sharp and unbumped. All pages are clean and stain-free, and all text and music notation is crisp and legible. There is no writing, underlining, highlighting, or other such markings in the book. The dustjacket is well worn at the edges, with most jacket edges reinforced/repaired from behind with archival tape. White areas of the jacket appear a tad darkened from age. Nevertheless, the jacket remains clean and stain-free, and is basically complete and intact despite the edgewear. NOT price-clipped ($3.00). B37.…
