You have prayed about it. You have given it to God. And you are still anxious.
That does not mean your faith is broken. It means anxiety is a whole-person experience — one that lives in your body, your nervous system, your sleep, and your daily rhythms — and it requires a whole-person response. A response that is rooted in Scripture, grounded in how God actually made you, and honest enough to hold you on the days when the practice feels thin and God feels far away.
Still and Steady is not another devotional with a verse and a breath cue. It is a complete 90-day practice that brings together the ancient Christian tradition of breath prayer, the science of how anxiety lives in the body, and daily Scripture-rooted exercises that go deeper than anything currently available in the Christian anxiety space.
Inside this book, you will find:
- Five teaching chapters that build the theological and physiological foundation — why your body and your faith were never meant to be separate, what anxiety is and what it is not, where breath prayer comes from in Christian history, and how to pray when God feels silent
- 90 daily entries across three movements — Roots, Steadiness, and Becoming — each with a Scripture anchor, a breath prayer drawn directly from that Scripture, a body-based grounding practice, a reflection question, and an evening release prayer
- Honest, direct engagement with the silence of God — for the believer whose anxiety has not responded to prayer alone and who needs something that holds them through the hard seasons, not just the easy ones
- Daily declarations rooted in Scripture that speak to who you already are in Christ, not who you are trying to become
- A practice designed for real life — five minutes a day, attached to your existing routine, built to survive the weeks when everything falls apart
This book is for the woman who knows every verse about fear and still cannot sleep. For the man who has a strong faith and a racing mind. For the believer who is tired of being told to simply trust more, pray harder, and surrender deeper — and who is ready for a practice that reaches the whole of them.
Perfect for readers who:
- Struggle with anxiety despite an active and genuine faith
- Want a Christian anxiety book grounded in both Scripture and science
- Have tried devotionals and found them too shallow to sustain them through hard seasons
- Are looking for a structured daily practice, not just inspiration
- Want to understand breath prayer within its proper Christian tradition
90 days. One breath at a time. Pick up your copy today and begin the practice that reaches the whole of you.
