STAY HAPPY, FELIX: A Story Inspired by Jack Forrest-Rickard
Felix Asher notices things most people don’t.
The way a look can feel louder than words.
The way silence can suddenly feel uncomfortable.
And how one small thought can turn into something much bigger before he even realises it.
At school, Felix is still trying to figure out where he fits. With his best friends Clarke and Slate by his side, things feel a little easier, but inside his own mind, there are still moments that feel confusing, overwhelming, and hard to explain.
Because sometimes, it’s not what’s happening around you that feels difficult… it’s what’s happening inside your own head.
As Felix grows and begins to understand himself more, he slowly starts to realise that not everything he thinks needs to be believed, and not every silence means something is wrong.
Maybe happiness isn’t something you have to chase or hold onto tightly.
Maybe it’s something you learn to sit within.
STAY HAPPY, FELIX is a gentle and honest story about growing up, friendship, and learning to understand yourself. It’s about overthinking, finding your place, and realising that being okay doesn’t mean having everything figured out.
It just means NOT giving up on yourself.
From the creator of the STAY HAPPY series, Jack Forrest-Rickard brings a story filled with warmth, emotion, and quiet understanding, written for anyone who has ever felt a little unsure of themselves, but kept going anyway.
Perfect for readers aged 10–15.
