We update our listings weekly, both online and at our storefront in Monterey, California. While our online selection often highlights certain areas of the collection, the in-store experience offers a much broader range of material. Our shelves are organized across more than fifty subject areas, allowing visitors to explore widely and discover books across many fields of interest.
Our shop is designed to capture the spirit of a traditional antiquarian bookshop. While we do offer rare and collectible works, the collection is not limited to antiquarian material. Visitors will find a diverse mix of rare books, out-of-print titles, and quality used books, alongside signed works, first editions, fine bindings, and occasional ephemera.
Overall, we strive to maintain a well-balanced selection of books at a variety of price points, offering something of interest for both collectors and general readers.
We are proud members of the Antiquarian Booksellers’ Association of America (ABAA), the International League of Antiquarian Booksellers (ILAB), and the Independent Online Booksellers Association (IOBA). We adhere to the professional and ethical standards of these organizations. New material is added regularly.
