This text, now in its third edition, highlights statistical methods useful for the behavioural sciences from a researcher's point of view, rather than from a statistician's. The format encourages students to research and analyse data without using complicated computations. In this edition, chapters have been revised and extended and more computer coverage and integration has been incorporated, including graphical representations of computer output.;This book should be of interest to introductory courses in statistics for students of social science.
