About this Item
Uncolored map in fair to good condition, ragged at edges, several repairs to verso. This is a very rare 1810 issue of the map of New Hampshire which first appeared in John Payne's New and Complete Universal Geography in 1799. Engraved by Cornelius Tiebout and drawn by Alexander Anderson. This map is mentioned in Wheat & Brun 190 which indicates that a separate copy of this state is in the Library of Congress. This map is not in Cobb (New Hampshire Maps to 1900), demonstrating its rarity. Seller Inventory # m01792
