After being sustained in a state of hibernation for half a millennium inside an obsidian capsule, Minax Bolide is suddenly freed of his volcanic resting place during an eruption. He is the next Starwielder, awakened by what appears at first to be random happenstance.
Cyngosa Maelstrom and Khelu Odena are non-related siblings but growing up together from very rough, but different backgrounds in the same town of Olcan. Cyngosa's birth had tragic consequences, and grew up in a broken household. Khelu was a child orphan and refugee, the sole survivor of her family's escape attempt from a terrible war. Cyngosa has been haunted by visions from angels, visiting him periodically in his dreams since he was a child. Warning of an impending cosmic evil, arriving to destroy and harvest their world's souls at an unknown time and date.
A previous mercenary employer approaches 'Straywolf' and 'Paradigm' the alter ego names Cyngosa and Khelu use for the illegal freelance and mercenary work in their adult years, with a special job. A once in a lifetime kind of offer they couldn't refuse, but with equal parts risk and reward. Dorrion requires the archeological and academic skills Khelu possesses, as well as Cyngosa's amplified magical abilities, to complete his study of special landmarks belonging to the extinct Galanexians, and unravel a conspiracy surrounding the truth of their extinction. One of Dorrion's passion projects has always been to restore Minax's kind and developed his invention The Genesis Machine, hopefully using Minax's DNA as a catalyst to bring the species back. Dorrion Chrisbane is an older and quirky wealthy philanthropist, with successful enterprises in biology and other fields of science. He hopes to pass his knowledge and experiences on to new members of the ancient and powerful secret society he's been part of for decades, Trinity Of Tranquility in its everlasting battle against diabolic evil and existential threats from their world, or from the dimensions beyond!
Dorrion had failed to save his life long best when there is a breach and identities become exposed to ambitious enemies. Saaliha Moonwane, Adaros's youngest daughter is the only known member of her family left alive from a vicious ambush. Minax discovers them, attracted to a magnificent holy weapon relic Saaliha has in her possession after the attack. The Moonwane's had guarded this weapon, called Alpha and Omega, for generations and its true power could only be unleashed by the Starwielder.
Minax Bolide comes to understand the true nature of his destiny, from Cyngosa's nightmare vision. Minax, as the last of his kind, and upholding his duty as the Starwielder must now save a world that predominantly reviles his very existence. The group of newfound misfit friends now face personal obstacles, opportunistic governments with their own agenda's, and other evil forces competing for expansion, influence and power.
