This book isn’t here to inspire you. It’s here to challenge you.
Starting is for the young adult tired of being told what to do, and finally ready to figure out how to think. Through raw, relatable stories—from missed opportunities to quiet comebacks—it pulls back the curtain on the mental skills no one teaches but everyone needs.
It doesn’t glorify perfection. It glorifies showing up. Daily. Especially when it sucks.
Inside, you’ll meet characters like you—stuck, doubting, distracted—who trade comfort for clarity and finally move. You’ll learn why habits write your real résumé, why pressure reveals instead of breaks, and why your mindset is the most valuable skill you’ll ever build.
Embedded throughout the book are SIQ Tips (Simple, Immediate, Quick) to provide you with ideas and techniques starting today, in real life, if you choose.
Whether you’re drifting or just done with mediocre, this isn’t about hype. It’s about starting. One shift, one story, one choice at a time.
Because the only difference between where you are and where you could be… is what you’re willing to think differently about.
