About the Author: Stephanie Moyerman is a research scientist in the New Devices Group at Intel Corp. Her work focuses on innovation and proof of concept demonstrations for wearable technology. She graduated with a PhD in astrophysics from the University of California, San Diego in 2013. Before that, she attended Harvey Mudd College and received dual B.S. degrees in math and physics.
