"THERE" BEGINS WITH THE END IN MIND.
My hope and prayer is that readers take this book and use it as a tool to discover their own personal "there." Without knowing why you do what you do, it's like "fire, then aim" instead of "aim, then fire."
Starting with the end in mind-by defining your values and establishing your core value-will allow you to set a path to "there," whether it's in the short term, the long term, or in your eulogy. Writing a mission or vision statement will provide a clear measure to evaluate your "there."
As for me, my personal and professional mission vision is: "To make a profound difference in the lives of the people I come in contact with."
With over thirty years of experience in ownership, leadership, coaching, systems development, and business strategy, Larry Dillon has had the privilege of working with dozens of companies and employing numerous people. Across all that time, one truth has consistently stood out: We all must start with the end in mind.
The principles and tools he shares in this book have been proven effective for businesses, families, and individuals alike. He's implemented them with clients and lived them himself. Now, he hopes they make a lasting impact on your life, too.
