Paperback. The Demon of self-doubt visits us all, but it's living rent-free in Andy Maxwell's head. Loaded with chemicals, the baggage of a troubled past, and the fear of an uncertain future, Andy is lost and going nowhere fast. His roommates, Ellen and Jeff, aren't faring much better. Escaping a self-made circus of debauchery is complicated enough. But when unwise choices and unseen forces collide, they ignite an adventure more surreal than any trip you can buy. At a crossroads disguised as the end of the line, Andy tries to outrun his demons. Buckle up for a strangely spiritual sojourn exploring the weight of expectation, the pain of loss, the struggle of holding on, and the glory of letting go.Staring at the Ceiling's 10th anniversary second edition tightens the grip of the original's wild ride, presenting this hazy coming-of-age fever dream with a new ferocity and focus. Eight days in the soul-testing heat of a small southern town can pass in a blur and can change a life forever. This item is printed on demand.
